Originality is one of those confusing concepts that we all strive for in some shape or form. I guess it’s hard to fully embrace the idea of being different when we are not actually authentic, because aren’t we a combination of all that is around us? We are a fascinating mixture of the influences we are exposed to. The people, the books, the movies, the art and the media that we surround ourselves with formulate our identity. So then are we original? Seeking to be different and forging a path to individuality is by no means wrong or generic, in fact I think it’s the foundation of success, I’m just raising the questions that I have. What are your thoughts?

THE OUTFIT
I have always loved the look of the Tommy Jeans t-shirts because of their retro vibe. I decided to pair it with a denim skirt with a slight twist. Two-tone and distressed denim are a great way to add a little more flavour to your outfit especially if you are starting to explore a more edgy style. The belt and the boots unify the outfit as the accents of brushed gold give this look a touch of chic.
